When…Podcast

When... a podcast that explores the defining moments of change in our past and our big plans for the future.

The podcast is a series of conversations based around peoples big ‘when’s’ in life, things from their past, things they are putting off and things they hope for. To capture the array of different voices and different stories captured in the podcast I created a logo using multiple typefaces. Its varying weights creates a feeling of echoing voices that captures the repetitious nature of this phrase. Using three different icons for the ellipses allowed us to create a logo mark that embodies the concept of the podcast so perfectly. The waiting, the trailing off, the anticipation.

I created a series of gifs to capture the feeling of waiting and time passing. Using the ellipses as grains of sand in an hour glass to show how When… can be used as a way to put our plans on the long finger.

I created a simple website that used the brands strong colours with the design inspired by the logos use of multiple fonts to create a feeling of multiple voices and stories.
